Hey Greg, glad you sorted it out! :-) Using GoogleEarth 4.3 I'd pick 47º49.139'N by 121º33.483'W. BTW, Redmond Hall caved under the heavy snow in the wee hours of January 2nd, 2009. I have pics of her that morning. Sad to see the historical landmark die.

Yes, You got me there. Technically both fir and hemlock are in the pine family. But the locals will still snicker at you if you call them pines.... I think most folks are unaware that they are in the pine family. In your photo, there are several kinds of trees. Western Hemlock, Sub Alpine fir, and probably some Mountain Hemlock as well. Its sort of an interesting multi-story photo isn't it? One more fascinating thing about Enchanted Valley.
