Usually me neither, but when I came home and saw the sky I took the camera and run to the beach. and the best of all: No Photoshop necesary. I made a whole set during half an hour and the results are very different from one minute to the other.

Thanks you for this explanation, it begins to make sense. That said, however, the photos have a surreal feel to them, a bit other-worldly and in some cases very painterly!

Thank you for your kind comments; this shot was taken at around 19:00 in October 2007. I probably added a little 'saturation' but very little. I also had to remove an ugly information board in the lower right foreground!
