The airbase is protected by the croation borderpatrol, because the Croation-Bosnian border goes throu the Airbase. You should stay on the croation side (Entrance 1-3). The fourth entrance is on the bosnian side. The border is not well protected. I´ve been there for ours and have not seen any police. May be it´s better to leave your car in the village Zeljava, so you can hide better when seeing a patrol. Good luck.
