Awesome, an incredible view. I hiked camels hump once but I was only about 5, looking forward to hiking it again sometime so that I can remember this time. Like.

Great photo. Many of my relatives are buried just down the road in Houston Hill Cemetery.

Thanks! Only wish I had gotten up there earlier on a less hazy day. And, you have quite a few great pictures yourself.

May I use this photo on this (non-commercial) website? (with attribution, of course) http://justus.anglican.org/resources/bcp/PNG/meriam_hc.html

Thanks, Chad Wohlers

The pictures were taken in August 2007, in the morning (but not as early as I would have liked) so as to keep the sun somewhat to my back. I used an Olympus E-500 digital SLR, f/5.6, 1/200, ISO 100, 35mm, with no tripod (handheld). The Chimney Point bridge can just barely be seen just south of due west. The largest peak is most likely Giant Mt. - most of the others are difficult to identify. Thanks for your comment, and I will add some tags.
