Thank you for visiting my photos, and enjoy this place. In France, this represents in broad outline the cup(cutting) of the fireplace(chimney) of a volcano in the park of Vulcania. Always welcome in my gallery.
i still have the memory of the splendid black and white photo you recently put up in my mind. there is the sense of isolation and separation in that photo that i felt in bleak, sun-bleached west texas when i shot this pic. 'emptiness' is highly appropriate. some of those little roads don't see a car for more than an hour. it can be positively creepy to be that alone, that removed from everything.
