The statue in front of this church is of St. Brigit (Breege, Bride), whose crozier staff stands for her heirarchical station in the church as monastic abbess. With St. Patrick, she is the patroness of Ireland. The liturgies served in this curch are all in gaelic Irish, the indiginous language of these islands, and to this day the first language before English of the local people.

Hi golliccr, can You please check Your mentioned position. There I cannot find Hafnarfjordur harbor. It is south of 64 ... N and 21 ... W. On the other side I couldn`t find the right position of the lighthouse at the harbour of Hafnarfjordur in internet. Thanks in advance Heinz

das Bild der Mühle ist zwar richtig platziert, ist aber nicht die Mühle Spetzerfehn, sondern die Mühle in Ostgroßefehn.
