It is LapwaI High School in Idaho. I went school there before "the prison fence" went up. There is a brand new building behind this one.

Gary Ralstin - speelyai is right. This formation is Ant and Yellowjacket. George Washington wasn't even alive when the Coyote made them this way!

What you have pictured here is part of a Nez Perce legend - Ant and Yellowjacket. Take it from a local.

Ant and Yellowjacket Description: The basalt arch known as Ant and Yellowjacket is a story about sharing and conserving resources. Ant and Yellowjacket argued over dried Salmon they found along the Clearwater River. They came to blows over who had the right to eat the fish. Fighting fiercely, they failed to notice Coyote, the all-powerful animal spirit. Even when he ordered them to stop, they kept on struggling. For not heeding his warning, Coyote turned them to stone as their backs were arched and their jaws locked together in combat, creating the arch seen today.
