The picture you've taken here is the street side of "Palestrina", My Grandfather's then my mother's old house before we sold it in the '60's. The far end used to hold the Napoleon III museum now being held in the "Ferrand wing" of the museum at the chateau in Compiegne. Dr. Ferrand was my grandfather. Frank A. Snyder

Con esta catedral, ya en la baja edad media, se lega a la búsca de desmaterialidad de la obra, que parece elevarse hacia el cielo, sostenida por una fuerza no terrenal. En el rosetón de la fachada oeste vemos que crece. esto abre por primera vez la expresión del autor, que disimulado salta las reglas y anuncia el humanismo que relucirá en lo que vendrá (el Renacimiento)
