Following the road in the foreground one can do an adventurous 4x4 trail to D2303 - which leads to Mile 108, Cape Cross, etc. Be warned to allow enough time, have more than one 4x4 vehicle in the group, enough water, and a trustworthy GPS loaded with Tracks for Africa. Do not attempt with hired 2x4 - there are at least 3 places where you need 4x4 low range.
