I stayed in the room you see there that hangs over the water. It was 25+ years ago and the Reef House was run by a young couple for only a short while. They had a home cooking style of lunch and breakfast where a lady cooked everyday some seafood recipes that were out of this world. I remember sitting in some layback chairs just counting the minutes before she would come out and ring the dinner bell. I lived daily for a about a week diving off the face of the reef in the most perfect conditions twice a day and waiting for the dinner bell in between. The bar was self serve; you just kept track of what you drank and wrote your talley on a chalkboard. Terrifically interesting island...I would love to go back but the changes would be too overwhelming. It couldn't possibly be still as perfect.
