My name is John, Originally from England, but came out to Australia in the early '70s hence majority of my photographs are in and around Australia. It wasn't until I retired that I took up photography, since then I have started taking photographs of some of the interesting and odd places I visit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ **** To all of you who take the time to visit and view my efforts I thank you. **** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.

Our snow is going fast. The snow on this road made it so I could not get where I wanted to go. I enjoy snow for the most part, this time of year it is time to find the first flowers as they bloom.

Our nights are starting to draw in now, but it's still nice to sit outside as long as the mossies leave you alone lol.

Not me JB lol, this is way out in the country, this is "World's End" where my Son lives.

There is a load of disused rail lines around here in South Australia. Nearly everything is now transported by road.

Is that Rottnest Island in the back, or is that further out? lucky You'r lucky living in such a beautiful country, although maybe not all the time with the bushfires, hurricanes and floods. Good they don't hit you all in WA. Thanks for visiting my pictures. As Australia fan, I pushed the favorite button for you gallery to see more of your work. Robert

JB it was by pure chance that I saw the rainbow. I had every intention of getting a photo of the cemetery but the rainbow was an added extra.

More information on this and other wooden bridges here

Information on this cemetery can be found here

You are welcome (Dark, British, etc.)

I guess my gallery gets more interesting with the newest uploads... I have learnt a lot and my gear is much better.

I also like ominous skies...light and shadows, a real challenge in photography.

Hi John

No I live a bit further south between Derby and Nottingham. Just enjoy walking around the Peak District when we can't get up to the Lake District. Windley is a very nice place. Glad you enjoyed the pictures

Regards Dave
