My name is John, Originally from England, but came out to Australia in the early '70s hence majority of my photographs are in and around Australia. It wasn't until I retired that I took up photography, since then I have started taking photographs of some of the interesting and odd places I visit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ **** To all of you who take the time to visit and view my efforts I thank you. **** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.

Since uploading this photo some 8 years ago, it's position on Google Earth has moved by some 18 meters. Photo has been repositioned

Actually the last passenger train came in the early 2000s. The last remnants of the station were demolished in 2005, but trains still ran along here in 2006/2007 for grain transport from the silos. Such a shame to see this track no longer in use.

Some really good photos here: http://www.johnnyspages.com/classicpicturesmenufiles/classicpresentdaypicsfiles/northline_stations/roseworthy.htm

Looks like a great place to explore!! Regards Caroline

Nice capture an picture ID, like!

Interesting! Must be no flat ground for miles :)

I remember delivering pharmaceuticals to old Mrs Cleland at that house.

The old home ground has changed a bit since 1954 when I used to play there. The mounds of earth have gone. It has lights; it has a fence!!! The goalposts look like the originals, lol. I remember it first as farmland with sheep grazing there.

Get a picture of the old places while they are still there Geoff, because as sure as eggs are eggs someone will come and knock them down for something flashy.

John

A quick trip to the past!
