Julio Irastorza Herm…'s conversations

Hello Julio, this is Russ Rowlett, webmaster of the Lighthouse Directory, hosted at the University of North Carolina, USA. This is a great photo of the Albuera lighthouse, and I am hoping you will allow me to use it on the Directory's page for lighthouses of the Eastern Visayas. The Directory is an educational project, completely non-commercial. Please take a look (last photo on the page); I hope you will think this is a fair use.

Julio,

I love your almost poetic photo descriptions. Interesting!

I am really John Williams, not lucit.

Yep, that's the theater as I remember it from 1971.I saw TORA TORA TORA in this theater while I was in "A" School.

It was made of wood. I was there in 1968. We could not march across the bridge. We had to walk because if we marched, the vibration would shake the bridge. They were afraid it would fall down.

Theo, I attended the B.O.O.S.T. program at NTC from '90 - '91, and lately I have been yearning for imagery of the base to remind me of my Navy old days !!! At the time that I left I thought "Good Riddance!", but I now realize the short sited appreciation of my first adventure out of my parents house. I am affraid I can't offer too many pictures, but I willing to research hunt down ! Darrell Harris

It was a very bright day and there was too much glare, so the exposure was not the best that I could take. The result therefore makes the picture look monochromatic, despite the efforts I took to edit the picture. I hope you understand, mein Herr.
