Every year, I do on major backpacking trip, usually with my brother. I am in Austin, and he lives in Wyoming. We grew up in Colorado. I did many small trips then, usually combined with climbing a 14er. But, with all the 14ers climbed, I turned to expedition length backpacking. A week in the wilderness really rejuvenates your soul. Then, I spend 51 weeks anticipating the next trip.
