I fell off this darn thing back in '72' and am trying to find the height of the cliff to the bank. As I remember I fell onto the bank of the Brazos so it doesn't look like this might have been the exact location I do remember climbing over a short retainer wall. Man that hurt for weeks!
I like your pictures of Hillside. My Dad was born there in 1919 when Grampa was Agent on the Illinois Central. My great grandparents are buried near the Clan O'Gael monument. I would love to have a picture of that if you get over to Mt Carmel. Thanks,
