To be more precise this a Terminal Surveilance Radar owned and operated by Nav Canada corporation. This one provides for the safe separation and Air Traffic Control associated to Calgary International Airport. It has both a primary and secondary radar function. Not a Doppler weather radar. Uses monopulse techniques for both applications.
