David Wilson's conversations

"I'll have a more extensive look at your portfolio, one of these days. Robert."

Thanks, But dont expect too much as I am inveterate snapper and don't take photography as seriously as you do. I do admire people who do take it seriously, but personally I'm too lazy and too much of a dilettante. Many of the photos were taken for purely personal reasons and I don't expect them to hold much attraction for other people.

I agree with you about BIG panos.. unlike ordinary photos panos can also be enjoyed on a different level, crawling through the detail, much as one would enjoy the Bayeaux tapestry, walking along it at a viewing distance of about 2 feet.(have you ever seen it? surprisingly small on the vertical scale) Some of the purists on the Panoramio forum do not share this view.

"For whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever has not, even what he has shall be taken away from him."

А у бизнесмена семейка большая!

Thanks. Unlike many photographers on Panoramio, I like, if possible, always to have people in landscapes for that very reason.

Stan's the Man. Lives up on the hill South of Lanner. Can't remember exactly where. A genuine eccentric primitive outsider artist. There's a few scattered amongst my snaps - you can view them all together as they all have a 'Stan Penrose' tag
