The title 'Small dog on a hot tin roof' is for artistic purposes only. A more correct title would be 'Small dog on a hot asbestos roof of a lean to of a house whose exact location I've forgotten' Pin position is very approximate.

Thanks, Beatrice. 2009 was very bad for tourism and retail in Spain. The Costa Blanca was particularly badly hit. Hopefully things will pick up a bit this year. If you want to open a shop - now is the time! Plenty of properties to rent or buy available! The Arenal seems to be the worst area as it is TOTALLY reliant on tourism in the summer months. Javea old town and port have a level of all year round trade from the resident population. The Arenal during the winter is dead, dead, dead...

Thank you. I'm often in the countryside but I never seem to get this sort of shot ;-)

Get it right Wilson. its bloody wonky!

Neon lights attached to the outside of an art gallery which is on the Thames Embankment, round the back of the Oxo Tower. If you zoom in on the map you can see where it is. Ive placed the pin quite accurately on the shooting position- This is the view to the South West from the pin position

Cats do have amazing hearing. "Oi, get off of that sofa!" bellowed from six feet away will go unheard, yet the slightest scrape of a tin opener or rattle from a box of cat biscuit will be picked up from 200 yards away.

HAHAHA!!! Saw this one linked in the "photo critique" forum ... couldn't resist taking a peek. Good stuff - well done!

aka Playa Las Marinas
