The softening and grain caused by IS0 1250 works very well with this subject. Normally these effects are unwanted and detrimental, but I think in this instance, the image is improved.

"Feckless breeze"? We are talking Cornwall = I would have thought "relentless" or "inexorable" would be nearer the mark. ;-)

The vertical drop off the end of Cabo San Antonio is about 600'. It's depiction in Google Earth with 3D surface contour modelling switched on is completely wrong!

It is suspected that developments at Denia Harbour and/or climate change are having an erosive effect on Les Marines beach, which seems to be getting less wide than it used to be.

There's certainly not enough beach left at this location to play beach volleyball any more!
