I dont think it's a particularly good photograph per se. Taken more as a record of the intense spreading contrails we had that day. By late afternoon they were forming an almost complete cloud layer.

The original was just a bit too contrasty. The resolution isn't too great either, as this is an old one (2002) from the early days of experimenting with digital photography before I owned a DSLR - taken with a 4mpx Canon A40.

With the opening of the enormous new terminal 3, terminals 1 and 2 have been closed and mothballed.

,,,and that even includes the new car park - narrow on/off ramps with sharp turns at each floor, weird circulation and poor signage. I'm glad I drive a small car!

The people in this photo are heading into a covered bridge to terminal 3. It has been so hot this summer that the rubber flooring in the bridge has bubbled up into a series of ridges.
