I have walked the perimeter of Tatafa and had a Tongan barbecue on the western beach, and it is as special on the ground as it is from the air!

Thanks for sharing your images.

Certainly a spectacular aerial view of Tanoa! No wonder you sign as islomaniac!

Now I hope you have some like this of Vava'u as well.

This goes into my favourites: Yellow Star.

I and my family spent a week here when there was a great resort (awarded Environmental prize) here called Marina del Nido. Unfortunately, a typhoon destroyed much of the beautiful cottages. Then the kidnapping in Mindanao ruined the tourism and the owners closed it down. But it's paradise unspoiled. The underwater life and unspoiled corals are magnificent since it is part of the Marine preserve of entire area. No need to go to Fiji, Tahita, (Bora-Bora) ... this is island paradise at its finest!

Nah! Sorry .. I was born here and live here and I just get to visit these islands when I want. Besides ... t\you canot buy most of the islands or - for that matter - most of the land in Fiji as it is about 90% owned by the Fiji people!
