An Loc means much to me. Never been there but to see it many times from 10,000 feet. In many ways, I was changed by An Loc. I come to know just how precious life is. Because of An Loc, a came to have a great more appreciation of Life and the my faith in God that gives us the resources everyday to sustain life. In April of 1972, a very real war was fought here. 50,000 N.Vietnamese troops surrounded An Loc. I came to Vietnam in late May and spent the next two months navigating a C-130 over An Loc resupplying the small contingent of RVN Rangers and US Special forces. I delivered the bundles with 3-large chutes that open at 1000 feet. I would like to correspond with anyone there, from the North or South, or the Soldiers there that we resupplied.
