I believe the tourist train run by the Zig Zag volunteers used this section until they stopped, not the current NSW railways.
It was such a good tourist attraction. It may come back, there was some talk on the net that they may resume (in 2013), and then there was a setback - bushfires destroyed a lot of rolling stock.
In 1959 the farmhouse was demolished to make way for a large number of houses. Parts of the farmhouse such as joinery, roof trusses and also the round windows out of the facade were all used in the building of a barn at ‘Het Elkeman’ in Twekkelo.

Thank you Christos, I appreciate the comments. Regards from Sydney, John
Very beautiful night photo. Greetings!
Thanks Peter, Ebenezer is not far away from me, so I thought I'd take another look around the area. Regards, John
Thanks Jim, and a Happy New Year to you and yours too. Had plans to visit Tassie, but decided not to go while the school holiday are on. Too busy and all booked out. May visit in a month or two and looking forward to it. Love the place and the food. Regards from Sydney, John.
Thanks for your comments Peter, they're always appreciated. Regards John
Thanks Peter, as a rule I don't go onto private property without asking first. This one was taken as close to the fence as I could. You're right, there are plenty of photogenic spots close by and I would love to go back. Perhaps soon. Regards, John.
