Look closely and beyond, for there is so much to see. Look both at the beautiful and the plain and record what you see, for things change, sometimes rapidly and sometimes imperceptibly. Nothing is ever quite the same again. Please do not use a copy and paste comment. I would be far happier if you expressed your views on a photo in an interesting and original way, then I would be more inclined to visit your gallery. The Google Translate function works well, so the use of English is not necessary. Friendly wishes. Please - no more invitations to groups.

Thanks, A-J, for your nice comment and LIKE. Kindest regards, Joe

Thank you, Rosa, for your appreciation of these big birds. Sadly, for Adrian at least, the second RAF Leuchars Typhoon squadron, 1(F) Squadron was transferred to Lossiemouth, last year. The possibility of seeing these planes + the Himalayas putting green encouraged him to take me to St.Andrews fairly regularly. However the good news, for Adrian at least, is that several Typhoon aircraft, mothballed to cut costs in 2011, could be brought out of storage and put back into service at Leuchars air base as part of the Government’s forthcoming defence review. ;-)

Cheers, Amelia

Bernard I'm pleased, that you like this photo, thanks. Greetings, Maggie

Jacku dziękuję bardzo, Twój miły komentarz i favorek z lajkiem to duża frajda dla mnie :) Serdecznie pozdrawiam, Gośka

I saw it only now after seeing this sign's version in the UK. Thanks, Amelia!

I really turned the hourglass time and time again in October but could see only the F1 forecasts and cancellations that weekend :)

I have seen a video of a flooded village in Norway because of an avalanche, but not heard about Alta before, Per. The Welsh people tried very hard to stop the village of Capel Celyn from being flooded to no avail. The strength of the English parliament won in the end. Yes - reservoirs are so interesting, and this one doesn't really compare in size or beauty to that in Blåsjø, but at least no villages were flooded in Norway to create the huge reservoir. Thank you so much for visiting all the most recent reservoir photos. ;-)

Hugs to Sola, A x
