Look closely and beyond, for there is so much to see. Look both at the beautiful and the plain and record what you see, for things change, sometimes rapidly and sometimes imperceptibly. Nothing is ever quite the same again. Please do not use a copy and paste comment. I would be far happier if you expressed your views on a photo in an interesting and original way, then I would be more inclined to visit your gallery. The Google Translate function works well, so the use of English is not necessary. Friendly wishes. Please - no more invitations to groups.

I hate to think of the state of Bruce's embalmed viscera, Joe, but this wee place looks very nice. :)

Cheers, Amelia

I have never been to Dunfermline, Joe. A sad state of affairs I feel, especially for a wee Fifer! Very imposing, particularly nice in B&W.

Cheers, Amelia

It would have been nice,Amelia.Only I don't know any Norvegian music :-) Cheers,Dany

One of my favourite odes :~)

Lovely colours dearest LGM ~ Like the blue house best ~ thanks for all the info ~ YSL ~ pip pip ~~~

Thanks for the link and the info, Lutz. As I said to Joe, the Hanseatic league had an influence on the architecture in Bergen, and the local brewery brews Hansa beer.

Cheers, Amelia

Thanks for the link, Lutz. The Sild Fisk is still there, as well as many of the other buildings; but the outside frontage is taken over by tables and chairs for the bus loads of tourists who sit and drink beer, probably German, at all hours of the day! ;-)

Prost, Amelia :)

Yes, I'm sure too, Amelia. It was the first time I saw something like that even if Milan is a big city and I lived there for 36 years. Maybe they go to other places the night. Dany
