Look closely and beyond, for there is so much to see. Look both at the beautiful and the plain and record what you see, for things change, sometimes rapidly and sometimes imperceptibly. Nothing is ever quite the same again. Please do not use a copy and paste comment. I would be far happier if you expressed your views on a photo in an interesting and original way, then I would be more inclined to visit your gallery. The Google Translate function works well, so the use of English is not necessary. Friendly wishes. Please - no more invitations to groups.

L.18 da Gian, bel cigno nel vortice, saluti e buona sera a te cara amica Rosa.

Do it in Photoshop, Amelia. Creat a duplicate layer and convert it to black and white. Then use a layer mask to paint back in the colour in the required area. Dead easy! Cheers, Joe

Many thanks my dear panoramio friends :-)

That's just a tad inconvenient when one is living in Shropshire, Joe. LOL

Cheers, Amelia

I did think of colour-popping this shot, Rosa, but didn't in the end. Yes, I do know how to do this, as you can see from this shot. I am pleased you LIKE this pic of the Santas. Cheers, Joe

There a lot more Santas in Helensburgh, Amelia. I caught only a few in that pic. Cheers, Joe

I think Mae West already has that honour, Amelia. LOL. Cheers, Joe

I don't think it was the weather that was making him happy, Rosa. I am delighted you LIKE it. Cheers, Joe

I was cold too, Rosa. My hands were numb when I was taking this series of shots. Thanks for your kind comment and LIKE. Cheers, Joe
