Look closely and beyond, for there is so much to see. Look both at the beautiful and the plain and record what you see, for things change, sometimes rapidly and sometimes imperceptibly. Nothing is ever quite the same again. Please do not use a copy and paste comment. I would be far happier if you expressed your views on a photo in an interesting and original way, then I would be more inclined to visit your gallery. The Google Translate function works well, so the use of English is not necessary. Friendly wishes. Please - no more invitations to groups.

Freut mich, dass es Dir gefällt, Conny

And what did you see, Amelia?

Cheers, Klaus

I ♥ Panoramio! NO VIEWS, never!

Gruss, Klaus

Interesting to see this now since my father and myself built it and most of the single round houses back during 1957 to 1958.

Wow, thanks everyone for your kind generosity - Nick, JAK, Amelia, Pamela and Hubs! I love finding this kind of light with the camera, especially so close to noontime - this is actually still in color. I thought of lace as well, dear Sister M, when I was making the photo.

Well, have you all heard about the tragic upcoming demise of Panoramio? I've been looking at VIEWS - pics of my geo area. Nothing I've seen would entice me to visit this area - in fact, quite the opposite. VIEWS needs the Panoramio images migration to upgrade its current content. Yeah, I guess I'm angry. We've all given so much time, effort and participation to the excellent philosophy driving Panoramio, it's an important part of our lives - we've made such wonderful friends - seen such fine work - perhaps the Pano founder will be able to save us from this future mediocrity. Not sure yet how to proceed, but I do know that I want to stay in touch with the dear-to-me friends I've made and valued these past five years, and continue to see their/your fine photographs. Please keep in touch (O:

It's probably to do with quarter of a tin of green paint going spare at the back of the boathouse, Joe. LOL

Cheers, Amelia

Hi Amelia. This was unveiled in June this year I think. It represents the 5 oceans and the red is the blood spilt in the sea, when the light hits from behind the colours of the ocean look like the sails of ships. The lonefigure, stands with this head bowed towards the subset. Beautiful piece of art. Thanks for your visit : )

Amazing white cliffs! interesting shot LK
Many greetings
Cor&Cri
