This is without doubt a view looking from George St looking down the alley to the back of Nuffield College. Nuffield College, named after its benefactor Lord Nuffield, is a relatievely modern college building modelled after his Cotswold Cottage (much repeated), but with an afterthough - that tower, which was made rapidly out of lego by the architects and sports the inset Lego spire, which is pretty much what they built and you can see here. You can see Yates' Wine Lodge in the immediate left, which was there in recent years. This is a mile away from Longwall St which coincidentally is where the Morris garage was located, Morris being Lord Nuffield's 'real' name.
