Hans Christian Andersen was on 2 April 1805 in Odense, the son of a Danish shoemaker born. Obsessed with the aim to become famous, he left with fourteen his parents' humble house and went alone to Copenhagen. But the thought of a career as a theater actor, he had soon from his head beat. Jonas Collin, a senior civil servant, took the nonconformist Herumtreiber in the family and instructed his son Edward, the brother forced to teach manners. Between Edvard Collin and Hans Christian Andersen has developed a kind of friendship, even if the later poets the Bankers at bay and gave him all his life that you denied.
