This is not strictly Burke's "Grave". It marks the spot where his body was found. It (and that of Wills) was later recovered and they were both buried in the Melbourne General Cemetrary

I grew up on the farm where this pyramid stands. I guess the new owners didn't know what to do with all the rock on the place, so they decided to build a land mark. Quite clever... just hope it's stable!
