Looks like the Shark is gone. 'CZECH' out my pictures to see how it look now. There was a bit of problem week before I arrived, but only some parts of a road on Dauphin Island had to be cleared of sand.
I was there in November 2009 and did not see any building damage at all. The only damage was caused by economy as there was about 90 % vacancy. The beach was empty, in the 'Hangout' they had probably 5 customers all day and you know how big the place it. But the prices for accommodation were still quite high.
