I lived at that address as a child during the war!
One strong recollection is the same view well lit up by German flares, fortunately the bombers failed to arrive. Another is seing my bedroom walls flexing in and out with bomb blast during a raid. That was in the rear second floor extension.
My father managed the then pawnbrokers and jewellers shop at this address.
How strange that I should stumble on a view that I left in 1961.
Needless to say I am curious about how the prperty has changed.
