Nice to see your mail. During that era lots of WWII activities took place in Nagpur, Gondia, Ranchi, Barrackpore, Pandabeshwar, etc airfields. My father was in the Indian Air Force and he retired from Nagpur and is settled down there. Chindwarra is quite a prominient place now with lots of mining activities happening.
