PER LB THEN ) WAS FANTASTIC ONE FISH WOULD FEED THE ENTIRE ISLAND STEAKS AT THE CLUB OR DINNER AT THE MESS HALL. SWIMMING INSIDE THE REEF WAS EQUALLY GREAT ALL THE CORAL, DIFFERENT FISH REEF FISH AND SHARKS ALSO. WAS LIKE BEING IN AN AQUARIUM.

I stumbled across this one day dreaming of finding an island to get lost on. What a trip! What I would do with this place. I would make it Eco friendly too. Maybe it's too big for me though. ;) Needs trees.

The Ethel was wrecked in 1904 on its way to Port Adelaide from South Africa. Not much remains of the vessel now and most that does remain is buried underneath the sand.

Dedicated to the preservation of the island's history and unique natural beauty, with ever-changing displays of local fauna mounts, historic and pre-columbian relics, photos, maps and documents. To the rear of the building is a nature preserve, and the museum also sponsors a network of similar trails, maintained by volunteers, throughout the island.
