Beach huts? I used to live in one of them! Saltcoat? Where's that? I thought this was Mill Beach. (Saltcote Creek is further along towards Heybridge Basin.)
As a young lad I would watch the big kids jumping from the diving board into the pool. The year, about 1964. The diving boards, 3 in all, were situated about where the second rest point is in the picture. Now a duck pond. How things change...
