I have been a photographer (off and on) and skydiver for 25 years. I was a founder of "Bridge Day" in WV, where people come from all over the world to parachute off the New River Gorge Bridge.

J. Waters's conversations

Through the tunnels pictured here, flow the worlds largest supply of quality Bituminous coal that is shipped all over America and Europe. Nothing but coal trains use these tunnels.

Bridge was built in 1920. Just to the left and converging, is the Big Coal River, while this bridge crosses the Little Coal River.

Well.. THATS certainly different!;)

Another exceptional photo by West Virginian, Jerry Waters. Jerry, you continue to amaze us.

Ha! Great illusion!

Paul Stark of Stark Brothers Nursery found this special apple on a thousand-mile treasure hunt which started in the town of Louisiana, Missouri, the home of Stark Brothers, and ended on a hillside in Clay County, West Virginia. No one, at that time had ever set eyes on such an apple. Red apples dominated at the turn of the century. Anderson Mullins (The property owner where the tree was rooted) knew he had something special. Figuring that his favorite nursery might be interested, he proceeded to send Stark Brothers samples of the fruit of his "Mullins Yellow Seedling." "Anderson sent us three apples and a modest letter explaining its characteristics," according to Paul Stark, Jr. The rest as they say, was history.

Beautiful photo!

This is where I mostly sat during my B-17 trip to another state on a fine summers day.

Nice photo indeed! :-)
