The hanger is obviously from the training base era. So it was part of the airport in its original form. In it were snow plows and other equipment. It is a wonderful building!

De exacte geschiedenis van deze graan elevator is mij niet bekend. Dat hij niet van gisteren is mogen we gerust aannemen. De "dust bowl" duurde tot laat in de jaren '30 en ik denk dat dit gebouw en toen mogelijk al was. Allemaal giswerk want ook mijn "onderzoek" naar deze architectonische schoonheid kwam niet ver. Belangrijkste oorzaak: de afwezigheid van mensen rond de elevator toen wij die passeerden. Succes met uw onderzoek.

This is the geodetical centre of the US. It is marked by a simple bronze plague on a concrete slab. This is a very quiet place in what you might also call "the middle of nowhere"... It is also not an official site. There is only a handpainted sign on the 85 and on the fence near the site. Thanks to those who made them!

Along roads in this part of Montana there are many of these crosses. They remember people who were killed there in accidents. Often these unfortunate events took place under the influence of Meth, a killer drug that is popular in these parts...
