The photo is called "arena", but this is a bit misleading. In fact this is the comitium, the town council of the roman part of Paestum. The columns in the background belong to a temple that has been dedicated to "bona mens", the good mind/reason. A neighborhood that would also suit a lot of today's parliaments.
