Not sure what your talking about, this is just a shelter along a trail in William O'Brien State Park, its well inside the park boundaries. It's not even a cabin.
Pike's Peak is such a beautiful park, especially in the fall and winter. Some of the views of the Mississippi river here rival views in the Northeastern US. I love the fact that so much of the path is now a boardwalk. The Indian mounds in bird, bear and circle shapes all along the trails in this park really add to the mystery. One of my favorite places. Not enough people know about this wonderfull park

A small correction: the name is Effigy Mounds National Monument.

Accually that is Julian Dubuques Grave. It was never used as a lookout tower.
