This dog's name is Hachiko. Every day he walked his master, DR. Eishaboro Ueno, a professor at Tokyo University to the railway station leaving for work and turn back to what became his waiting spot around the time when his master would return from work. One day, at work, his master died from a stroke... and never returned. Every day, Hachiko returned to this spot for his master to show up.
