The Dalsnibba Mountain Plateau (1,500 meters above sea level) by highway Rv63 between Grotli and the village of Geiranger, provides marvellous views of the surrounding mountain area and the Geiranger fjord. Nibbevegen toll road, constructed in 1939, winds in 11 bends from the Djupvasshytta mountain lodge up to the plateau, and is one of the most important tourist attractions in Norway.
