Please look this up, I did find more to the story So far away and such different lives. Our Canadian boys and me as well come from a life of wilderness survival.
Thank you again, this story really was great, and made this whole posting on the google what it was ment to be. Cheers Eh! Big smiles :-)

There is a cool old forestry lookout up there, with a nice trail to it about a 3 hour walk I believe

On the way there is a giant beaver pond then a road to the west that leads to longworth then railway then nothing but very old big trees never logged or might now even walked though in places. Other than that a few big Grizzly bears and lots and lots of mosquito’s. I been on the big mountain "Lindup". past the last of the tree line but it gets very windy and storms can blow up almost anytime. From there the world looks just excellent.

The picture was made when you come from Mc Gregor (Pass Lake Road?) and cross the McGregor bridge and turn right and from there I think 30 km. To Jarvis Lakes we always followed Sandy Road (before the bridge right) and followed always the road at the southside of the McGregor until the end where we left the truck and took the horses. From there is a trail pass wishaw and kakwa lake up to jarvis. You can see the trail on Google earth. If you have more questions coela262@yahoo.de
