Chris, Bedankt voor het compliment. I lived near the Amstelveenseweg in Amsterdam for a couple of years. It is not so far from the Amstel and I liked it there. It is a pity you had no opportunity to travel through Poland. Although I have been there only a couple of times I think it is a beautiful country. Nice country site and lovely old cities.

You know a lot more Dutch than I know Polish, I already forgot how to say good morning.

Groeten, Bas

Thanks for your comments. You also have some very nice pictures on display. I really like this one. Virginia is not a bad state to take pictures.

In this cabin General Grant stayed during the Richmond, Petersburg siege in 1864 – 1865. The cabin was for more than 100 years in Philadelphia but was replaced on its original location by the US Park Service. About 10% is original. It was one of a row of cabins were Grants staff was housed.

Nice photo, but I wish people would stop calling them the "Grand Tetons." There's only one Grand Teton, which is in the Teton Mountain Range, or Teton Mountains, or simply Tetons.
