yes this is Ruchazie Woods. It is right next to Croftcroighn Road. Croftcroighn Road is directly to the left as you look at this photo and the M8 is a few hundred yards to the right. Straight ahead is the Stepps Road.
Boghall Street looking north onto Gartloch Road, with the Ruchazie Shops on the horizon. Taken on the morning of 12th February 2008. The flats on the right are marked for demolition to clear for new housing and vandals have set fire to much of the top floor of the nearest building. These flats may well be gone by the time you read this, making way for new housing. St. Philip's Roman Catholic Church is out of view on the left of this photo.

really sure this may have been the boating lake me and my brother used in the late 60`s when visiting Glasgow,
