Das Haus mit dem kleinen Uhrturm ist das heute noch bestehende Hotel Freienhof in Thun. Auch die Arkaden sowie die Brücke über die Aare gibt es noch. Die Berge, speziell die schneebedeckte Blüemlisalp sowie der kegelförmige Niesen, sind vom Künstler Wocher vor rund 200 Jahren erstaunlich naturgetreu gemalt worden.
