Hi, thanks for your comments. Yes, we took a bus from Lijiang to Baqiao, then Banqiao to Tuanjie, which like you say seems a long way from anywhere! Very peaceful. We did make it to the Yangtse by foot - but from Tuanjie - a bit closer, but still a long way down and back up again...
