I served at RAF Laarbruch as Families Officer from 1986 to 1989 and so know all the accomodation areas of the Stn, Weeze and Goch/Kevaller. My family and I had a wonderful time out there and my lads spent most of their spare time in that swimming pool. I ran the Sgts Mess footy team and also played. Great days. We are now settled in the village of Brampton in Cambs. Would love to be able to turnback the clock
So you were the one who was rewarded by the good natured jeers from the audience, when the film came off the sprockets. I was also there from 57-60, and revisited about 8 yrs ago. Happy memories.

this church has great personal sugnificance as i was christened here in 1977 and returned here after the closure of RAF Gutersloh in the earlie 90's
