After careful reconsideration of my memory, using google earth to study roads and contour of Mt Shasta and surrounding hills; I'm pretty sure this is where the 1993 photo was taken.
Wow! I just noticed a statue of a man: on the 3/4 section of roof toward the top, right side of the photo. That must be projecting from the center, toward the back of the building!
