The Shoals Spider Lily ~ Hymenocallis coronaria ~ is found in the shallow, fast flowing water of river shoals along the fall line in South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. These large showy white flowers only bloom from Mid-May through Early June

Ruins of the old water-powered textile mill at Sweetwater Creek. Five stories high and completed in 1847, the mill complex was then the tallest building in Georgia lying north or west of Atlanta.
