I love nature and all of God's little creatures. The countryside, the streams, the pastures, and the woods. Anything and everything outdoors ~ All of the beauty and the gifts from above! I like to photograph these places and try to remember them in my head when I'm stuck inside and can't get out on a beautiful day. There is so much beauty all around us ..... I don't want to miss a thing!

Muchas gracias por su bonito comentario y el F+L, Angel! Me alegra de que le guste esta toma! Gracias también por agregarme a sus fotógrafos preferidos! Saludos, Anne

This is an absolutely stunning photograph. I was in Yatesville recently on a forestry job. I worked on Saturday and roamed around taking pictures Sunday afternoon. I got close to this house and got some interesting images of it, I think, but sadly the past 5-7 years have not been kind. The entire front of the house has collapsed. You really captured the grandeur of it, here. It's wonderful to see something closer to the glory it once was. If you're interested, I'm guest-hosting the @classicgeorgia Instagram account this weekend, and I'm using the opportunity to post my Upson County photos. I'm also posting some of them on my own account: @davygibbs. I haven't posted any images of this house--yet--but I think you'll recognize the others.

Andy Rodker Wow you have gone back in time Andy ~ Glad you like it, it is a swing gate that I often pass through on my walks ~ Thanks for the YSL and have you noticed that photographs are being reviewed again ~ All the best ~ nick

Best wishes from north of Iran.

Hi Faith, the camera was at an f16 aperture,f16 or greater should work ok and focus on the first or second piers in,experement with aperture and focus point depth into the image,to get max depth of field focus.A good tripod, nice long shutter speed with the nd400,will turn the water smokey. Keep experimenting,so easy to do this now with digital. note also that f22 and higher will start to have reduced image sharpness due to diffraction in the lens.

Good evening,

Can you contact me at rsmorrisg159@gmail.com ?

I am requesting to use this image in a website dedicated to my Father who used to race at Zebulon.

Thanks for your time,

Scott Morris
